Elizabeth Weybright is a PhD candidate in English at the Graduate Center. Her dissertation explores relationships between music culture and aesthetics, sound studies, and narrative representations of listening in nineteenth-century British literature.She holds a BA in music performance, and her background as a cellist informs her current research. Before becoming an ITF, she taught courses in writing, literature, and World Humanities at City College. She also spent a year as a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow at John Jay College.
