Macaulay Honors students receive a uniquely broad, interdisciplinary undergraduate experience that’s customized for their interests and abilities. They earn a degree conferred jointly by Macaulay and their home campus.

Macaulay Honors College students come together for special classroom experiences including four 3-credit seminar courses that they take over the course of their first and second years at Macaulay.
Our faculty develops unique and challenging academic programming for Macaulay scholars.
We make technology a meaningful part of student learning, no matter what the subject. The result: students learn how to find (or create) and use digital tools to pursue any academic question and to make their ideas ready for the global stage.
Macaulay scholars have graduated with degrees in over 450 different areas of concentration. Our students officially declare their major through their CUNY home campus, and available majors and minors are listed on the individual campus websites.
There is a Macaulay advisor on every one of our eight CUNY campuses. Each one supports the unique needs of high achieving students with academic issues, campus life, and professional goals.
The lab prepares students to innovate in the tech industry, developing skills in digital studio technologies, entrepreneurship, marketplace analysis, social media marketing and distribution.
